It’s hard to wait around for something you know might never happen.
But it’s even harder to give up when you know it’s everything you want.

How adorable are these prints by Sharon Montrose? And YES, they are real, live animals that live in animal sanctuaries and rescue organizations.
I am inspired by the simplicity of these images. You don’t need much more when your models are as adorable as these animals! I picked my favorite three prints here – find your own favorites over at Sharon’s etsy shop.

Jenilyn makes the most beautiful clocks! Each one is either limited edition, or one-of-a-kind. Are they not the cutest? I don’t think I’ll ever look at a plate the same way again!

Lucy is so incredibly talented and creative. Her blog, { a black pepper } is definitely a source of inspiration for me. It’s as if I slip into her world when I read her posts – and what a beautiful, calm, and creative world she shares with us.
Not only are her pictures amazing, but she knits and designs beautiful garments and hats. The images of her creations make me what to learn to knit! I am inspired by her talent and the love that radiates from her blog.
And lucky for us – Lucy also has a handknit design gallery, where you’ll find a list of her designs and patterns. For more of her gorgeous photography, please see her photography blog, under baobab. And if you would like to purchase her work, please head over to her etsy shop!

Ok, so I’m not actually going on a fall trip – but if I were, these are a few things that I would definitely take with me!

With the new year right around the corner, I know many people are considering a daily photo project for 2010. I am in the final stretch of my own project, which I have entitled my Daily Discoveries project – a photo a day in 2009.
On my photography blog today, I offer 15 tips of what I have learned so far on this journey. I hope my insights inspire you to think creatively for the new year, no matter what your passion may be!

Finish each day and be done with it. You have done what you could.
Some blunders and absurdities no doubt crept in; forget them as soon as you can.
Tomorrow is a new day; begin it well and serenely and with too high a spirit to be encumbered with your old nonsense.

1. you know what?, 2. lollipop, 3. sunflowers, 4. Autumn leaves how faded now, that smile that I’ve lost, well I’ve found some how…, 5. It started feeling like October, I got stranded on the road…, 6. Untitled, 7. I heart this nut., 8. saturday afternoon, 9. breakfast
