I’m so happy that Elena, a NY based designer, introduced me to her shop, Tickled Pink Knits. I love her knitwear – shawls, wraps, scarflettes, everything you need to feel warm and cozy this winter!
She creates all of her garments by hand, using a variety of materials including cashmere, merino wool, and fine cottons. I am inspired by Elena’s attention to detail, and the time and talent she puts in to each piece.
Please visit Elena’s flickr stream and etsy shop, Tickled Pink Knits. If you are interested in her patterns, Elena has another etsy shop for those as well!

I noticed the amazing work of Karen Barbé on Creature Comforts – and I instantly fell in love with her beautiful textiles. I am inspired by the clean lines of her patterns and the way her duvet covers just make you want to jump right back in to bed!
Aren’t her cotton bags adorable as well?
Please visit Karen’s blog for more inspiration – it’s full of lovely images. Also, Karen’s shop and flickr stream.

Seriously, how cute are these flats? I’m loving FlexiFlats, who just launched their new shop Ocotber 1! This Australian company offers a “practical solution to your killer heels” – each pair comes in a little bag which tucks in your purse. The bag unfolds to carry your heels, allowing you to slip on cute and comfy flats to get you home.
